HH Shrimad Varadendra Tirtha Swamiji of Kashi Math Samsthan was renowned for proficiency in Ayurveda among many other extraordinary skills.
To honour the hallowed memory of Revered Swamiji, His Holiness Shrimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji, the then Mathadipati of Shri Kashi Math Samsthan desired that a Trust to propagate Ayurveda should be setup.
Accordingly, SHRI VARADENDRA CHARITY TRUST was set up vide a Deed of Settlement dated 31st October, 1970 by His Holiness Shrimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji,
